From smoothies and protein balls to no-bake treats, here’s how to get creative with your powder by following some of our favourite collagen recipes.
One of the best things about our collagen powder is how flexible it is. It’s got a neutral taste, no smell, and it dissolves beautifully into pretty much anything – whether you’re blending up a smoothie or mixing it into your morning coffee.
However, before we get into these tasty collagen recipes, let’s cover a few essential questions that will help guide your kitchen adventures.
Can collagen powder be heated?
Yes, collagen powder can be heated. It's stable up to temperatures around 300°C, which means it retains its benefits even when added to a scalding coffee or cup of tea. That means you can feel free to stir it into your morning brew!
Can you use collagen powder in baking?
While you can safely warm it up or mix into hot drinks, we recommend that you don’t bake with our collagen powder. The collagen itself will be absolutely fine but the potency of the vitamin C* – which plays a key role in collagen synthesis – may be affected by the high heat.
*Each sachet of Absolute Collagen contains 60 mg of Vitamin C, which is 75% of your daily Nutrient Reference Value. Enjoy a daily dose of Absolute Collagen as part of a balanced, healthy diet and active lifestyle.
